Dan Fugardi

Dan Fugardi is the founder of InspyreNow, built on a simple belief: young people rise to the level of the people who believe in them.

Community has always been part of Dan’s work. He has been part of many social initiatives for the community, working alongside artists including Erykah Badu, Mos Def, The Roots, Janet Jackson, 50 Cent, Wyclef and many others. InspyreNow is the next chapter of that commitment, aimed squarely at the next generation.

Dan’s own path started in the U.S. Navy, where he served as a submariner. Life aboard a submarine meant small crews, high stakes and total reliance on the person next to you, and it shaped how Dan thinks about discipline, accountability and teamwork.

After the Navy, Dan earned his MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business and built a career growing companies. He is Chairman and CEO of InStyler Brands, a globally renowned hair-tool company with upwards of a couple billion dollars in sales. He was CEO of Clout, a banking technology system that processed over a billion dollars before its exit. He co-founded Vantage BP, a brand protection company that has served major Fortune 1000 companies including Unilever, Bose and Philips, and he co-founded Super Source. He also founded F22 Growth Advisors, where he helps businesses scale.

Beyond business, Dan has executive produced two feature-length films.

InspyreNow brings all of it together: a veteran’s sense of mission, a builder’s drive, and a lifelong commitment to community, all aimed at helping young people see what’s possible and get their foot on the starting line.
